The InterContinental Hanoi Hotel was officially inaugurated on April 8 in the presence of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’

Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razakm and Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, Vietnam tours.

The five-star hotel, a joint venture between the Hanoi Tourism Corporation and Malaysian Berjaya group, has 359 rooms with views over West Lake - the largest lake in Hanoi.

The hotel also boasts three restaurants, two bars, a fitness club, a swimming pool, four meeting rooms and a luxury conference room.

It is the only hotel in Vietnam to be featured on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2008 Hot List, garnering the honour for its “sublime” waterfront locale.
