Vietnam tourism promoted on CNN
CNN will broadcast a video clip advertising Vietnamese tourism later this year.
The clip, which cost 5.3 billion dong or $277, 000 to broadcast on CNN, will air in the third or fourth quarter as part of a $2.1 million tourism promotion program for 2010, but details about the frequency of the broadcast have not been revealed.
This will be Vietnam’s third advertising campaign on CNN.

Vietnam tourism aired on CNN for $290, 000.
Broadcast twice daily on CNN Asia for three months, it showed montages from
Ha Long Bay,

Hue.
Last year CNN again carried ads featuring Ha Long Bay and other Vietnamese sites for two months.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to promote
Vietnam’s tourist attractions at six overseas travel expos through next year in Japan, Cambodia, Singapore, Russia, Germany, and Spain.
There will also be three road shows in Australia, Taiwan, and Myanmar and a number of familiarization trips for travel businesses from Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Northeast Asia, China, and Southeast Asia later this year.
