Vietnam New Year tours abound



To celebrate the New Year,  Ethnic Travel Vietnam is putting on a variety of tours for local and foreign tourists. These tours will surely give travelers the opportunity to indulge themselves into splendid landscapes from the waterfalls and mountains in the Central Highlands or stunning beaches and islands in coastal areas, and gain an insight into Vietnamese culture and history through ancient temples and pagodas.

Dalat, a Central Highlands resort town covered by mist and pine trees, will play host to the Flower Festival 2010 from
January 1 to 4. Saigontourist is arranging different programs for those wishing to get a glimpse of the flower city, including a four-day tour called “Dalat - Welcoming the New Year and Flower Festival” priced at VND1.77 million to VND3.47 million per pax and the five-day “Nha Trang - Dalat Welcoming the New Year and Flower Festival” tour priced at VND2.37 million to VND3.88 million per pax.

Many other options are available and their departure time is December 31 and January 1. A three-day tour to Ninh Chu Beach in Ninh Thuan Province costs VND1.9 million per pax, a four-day tour to Nha Trang VND2.2 million, a three-day tour to the Central Highlands VND1.7 million, a three-day tour to Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang Province by air VND1.6 million (excluding air ticket), a four-day tour to Danang, Hoi An and Hue cities by air VND3.6 million, a four-day tour to Hanoi VND3.1 million, a two-day tour to Phan Thiet VND1.2 million, a three-day tour to Con Dao Island by air VND1.7 million and a four-day tour to Ha Tien Town in the Mekong Delta VND1.8 million. 

ETV is offering varied tours departing on December 30, 31 or January 1. The price of a three-day tour to Phu Quoc Island is VND4 million while a three-day to Con Dao Island costs VND3.5 million, a four-day tour to Nha Trang and Vinpearl Land VND2.4 million, a three-day tour to Binh Chau Hot Spring and Long Hai Beach in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province VND2.7 million, a three-day tour to Ninh Chu Beach VND2.3 million, and a four-day tour to the Central Highlands provinces of Buon Ma Thuot City, Gia Lai and Kon Tum VND2.5 million. Visiting the Mekong Delta province of Ca Mau in the country’s southern tip, tourists will pay VND2.7 million per pax. The respective prices of a three-day tour to My Tho, Can Tho and Chau Doc in the Mekong Delta and of a four-day tour to Da Lat are VND1.75 million and VND1.8 million.
