Vietnam 's first international hotel management group, Celadon International Hotels, has signed management agreements to run three hotels in Hue, the ancient capital and UNESCO-listed World Heritage city.
The new Celadon Hotel Hue, the first hotel to come under the new company's branding, will be a superb 5-star property when it opens later this year.
The group is also managing the 4-star Indochine Hotel, re-branded as the Hue Hotel, which is also undergoing ?designer-style? refurbishment and expansion from 68 rooms to 150 rooms this year, targeting mid-market business and leisure travelers.
A third property now under Celadon's management is the 3-star River House a budget and backpacker hotel on the banks of Hue 's celebrated Perfume River. This hotel will be extended from 58 rooms to 150 rooms and refurbished in 2006/7. Once completed it will be a chic, trendy hotel for the budget conscious traveler.
Accommodation
The rooms are luxuriously appointed, feature a plasma TV screen, and connected audio visual equipment, the area layout of each room is unique. Individual air-conditioning control, private bathroom with shower and bathtub, satellite colour television with in-house movie channels, IDD telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box, hairdryer, writing desk, tea making facility.
Celadon Hotel has a state-of-the-art communication system which features wireless internet connection throughout the hotel.

The Entertainment Centre (Level 2, 200 seats) is an all inclusive multi entertainment center separated by partitions and elevations.
There is a Music Lounge with private rooms, a Discotheque, Karaoke, Pool Room, Pizza&Pasta, Sushi bar and a Retail Shop selling memorabilia. The entertainment center is open from 6pm to 2am. The Pool Room opens already at 11am.
The Grand Salon (Level 1, 448sqm) is pillarless, making it the perfect venue for seminars, conferences and high-level trade presentations. All cocktail parties are served by waiters wearing white gloves. The Grand Salon can be divided with sound proof partitions into two parts.
Outdoor Pool is located on level 1 and staffed by lifeguards all are trained by the Royal Live Savings Society of Australia. The poolside area also provides a venue for various outdoor activities.
